What is an Avatar-based video communication service?
Our service creates digital Avatars, generated from a one-time capture of your contributor/s appearance and voice. Avatars are then ustilised to deliver video updates and content for your company. These Avatars can be updated with new VoiceOver scripts and visual content enabling the generation of brand new videos very quickly. This allows key representatives to deliver frequent communication and updates to your clients, customers or staff without the need for ongoing filming.
How does the initial Avatar creation process work?
We come to your location and film high-quality video and audio of your chosen spokespeople. We use industry leading Cinema Cameras, lenses, audio and lighting techniques.
Contributors deliver a brief, scripted sequence to camera (via teleprompter). Using that capture, we create lifelike Avatars that can be used indefinitely in new videos to deliver messages in various languages.
Where do we film our initial Avatar creation video?
You are required to provide a location for this, although we can arrange a studio shoot (where necessary) which we quote for separately.
Typically, any quiet, reasonably large office space will work. We often film our Avatar capure sessions in company Boardrooms, for example. We have also filmed several Capture Sessions in meeting rooms and even a basement once!
Can the Avatars speak multiple languages?
Yes, our avatars can deliver updates in multiple languages. This is particularly beneficial for multinational organisations who require communicating effectively across different countries and cultures. Delivering content in native language ensures consistent messaging that’s culturally appropriate.
Are the Avatars perfect?
No! But our fine tuning makes them incredibly lifelike and often they are almost indistingusihable from the actual person. This is an emerging technology which is evolving fast, with each new generation getting better and better.
How do you ensure the security and privacy of the content?
We take security and privacy seriously. All data and recordings are securely stored and handled in compliance with the latest data protection regulations. We work closely with our clients to ensure that all content meets their internal security standards and legal requirements.
We utilise a 3-tier security system whereby Avatar content can only be created with access to all 3 systems simutaneously. This includes the raw capture footage which is securely stored offline.
We also employ a robust, legally binding contract which limits our ability to generate any content without express client consent.
No Avatar content is ever generated without prior consent and is never delivered without your review and approval.
What are the cost implications of using this service compared to traditional video production?
By using Avatars, you significantly reduce the need for repeated location shoots, logistics, and coordination, which are typically costly and time-consuming with traditional video production. Our service involves a one-time setup fee for Avatar creation and a flexible pricing model for updates, making it an advantageous and highly cost-effective, long term solution.
What will my video look like exactly?
This depends on how we capture. Generally, customers opt for a Green Screen back drop which has more flexibility in the edit. Green Screen capture enables us to alter the backdrop for every video. Alternatively, you can choose to capture your Avatar in your own office! The benefit of this option can be absolute consistency across all delivered videos. CEOs tend to like this option!
How long can each video be?
We have a standard limit of 300 words per video but we can make videos of any length. These are priced based on requirements. As a guide, 300 word scripts produce a video of approx 2mins length whereas 750 word scripts produce an approx 5min length video.
We need some B-Roll to accompany our Avatar videos - can you help?
Absolutely! We can shoot B-Roll for you at any UK location (and abroad upon discussion). We have a set pricing structure for this so your costs will always be consistent and predictable.
We can also edit in B-Roll you provide or we can use stock footage for a fixed price as well.
Do our subscription allowances roll over to the next month if we don't use them all?
No they don’t unfortunately. We will assit you in selecting be the best plan for your needs so this likely won’t be an issue.
What if we need to update the Avatar’s appearance or voice?
Although our Avatar’s are designed to be used indefinitely, we understand that changes may be necessary over time. We offer services to update or modify any Avatar’s appearance and voice as needed, which can be discussed as part of our ongoing service agreement.
How long does it take to produce an update once it’s requested?
Updates take considerably less time than traditional video productions. Depending on the complexity of the content and the languages required, updates can often be completed in a matter of days and in some instances; a matter of hours.
Can we preview and approve content before it goes live?
Absolutely! We provide a full preview of the Avatar’s updates, and you can request edits or give approval before any content is finalised and published. This ensures that all communications meet your standards and are fully aligned with your messaging goals.
Are you a UK-wide service?
Yes! We are able to offer our services to any size organisation, anywhere in the UK. We can also film Avatar’s anywhere in the EU, or indeed, worldwide. Please contact us for a quote on International locations.
Can't I just make my own Avatar using a phone app?
Yes you can – and they can look alright too!
We specialise in creating Professional Digital Avatars – appropriate for front-end business communication – and this begins with the capture process.
Having a professionally lit and filmed Avatar, recorded with commercial audio, as well as a curated perfomance capture has a massive effect on the outcome. Then, our fine tuning process smooths over any rough edges.
The result is much more realistic, lifelike and often indistinguishable from an actual live video perfomance.
